The DXer

I'm Adam and I'm 16 and I'm from Western Massachusetts.. (now that we've got that out of the way...) I got into DXing by mistake. Many have said they don't expect me to be the type that is a DXer. I play three sports, have way too many friends, go way too many places, and am involved at my high school. But around all that, yes, I do find time to DX. I have always had a passion for radio- knowing people at and being interested with my local CHR/Pop station, WKSS Kiss 95.7. I've always liked CHR/Pop and alternative music, as well. You can check out my regular site with the usual teen stuff by clicking here. I got into DXing when one summer (1999) I was playing with my radio during a thunderstorm, and I heard WMC 99.7 out of Memphis, Tennessee, playing Ricky Martin's "Livin' La Vida Loca" and then doing traffic for Memphis. I decided I wanted to investigate and find out what was up.. and I became hooked. That's basically the whole story. I became a member of the WTFDA in late 2001 and have been active in that club ever since.

What is DXing?
I added this part of the webpage because my friends and people who were just visiting my website, saw the new link and clicked on it wanted to know what DXing is. It's trying to get distant TV or radio stations... some people think it's boring but I don't.. even though I'm the type that you'd expect to think it was boring.
